Our Heritage

Cowhides with history!

Every single one of our pieces carries the imprint of time and tradition. Since 1889, when our great-grandparents began the craft of tanning in the lands of Colombia, we learned to work with hides while respecting their noble origin. Back then, the transformation was achieved patiently in artisanal pools, before making way for modern chrome tanning processes in wooden barrels. This technical evolution is what guarantees today that every hide retains its softness, durability, and natural beauty over the years.

Our history also lives in the countryside. From cattle breeding on iconic farms like "Los Tres Potrillos," located in the heart of the Coffee Region in Armenia, Quindío, come the famed hides of the Normande breed. Originating from a mild climate and showcasing unique shades, these pieces are as internationally renowned as Colombian coffee itself. They are not merely materials: they are the soul for high-end leather craft projects, upholstery elements, or striking rugs that transform any space with their genuine texture.

Home Elegance and Custom Design

Artisanship blends with contemporary design in our home collections. Every cushion, placemat, and table runner adds a warm, sophisticated touch to everyday decor. For those seeking an unrepeatable centerpiece, our patchwork rugs assemble hand-selected cutouts curated by expert designers. We believe in spaces with their own personality, which is why we craft these rugs on demand, tailoring them to any requested size or architectural vision.

Our passion for detail culminates in the NEW YORK STOOLS industrial line. These metal-framed chairs combine the strength of steel with the pure elegance of cowhide. Designed for customization, they allow you to choose the exact upholstery shade and adjust the frame height to your needs. By choosing one of our pieces, you acquire not just an exclusive design object, but a fragment of over a century of Colombian artisanal heritage.
